Pray for her departure to be gentle

And her voyage to be safe

Until in the hands of her Creator she lands

With all those she befriended

Whose lives God chose

Go in peace mama

Until we hug each other again (Listen to some of her favourite songs, below)

To mother

Montreal, July 16, 2012, 12.08 noon: "Mothers should not leave their children"; that is what I thought today, at the age of 61, sitting with my wife, my sister and her husband, next to her bed. Mom has lived 97 years giving love, wisdom and support to so many of us. We asked God, today, to make her voyage easy and blessed. So we prayed to Him and He wiped our tears and asked us to leave her room, at the nursing home, just opposite to our homes. When we left her, she lay graceful, loving and ready for the will of God.

Please pray for her voyage, to God or back to us; that it may be peaceful.... I still feel I am five, holding on to her skirt and my sister is hugging me, together with my wife, reminding me that we are not alone... God is with us and her. We will visit her, alternately, for a minute or two, every hour, without waking her from her rest, until God unfolds His plan.

To our mother Laurice Baladi Nicola, the loving and graceful giver for 97 years, so far!
